What's new in v0.0.12

Added

  • Menu bar status item with Open CmdSpace, Settings…, Restart, and Quit. When the launcher panel or ⌘Space hotkey is unresponsive, the menu-bar icon remains a recovery surface so the app can be restarted or quit without Activity Monitor. Toggle via Settings → General → Show CmdSpace in menu bar (on by default).

Fixed

  • Launcher no longer freezes intermittently with ⌘Space doing nothing. Background Chrome window→profile mapping previously ran AppleScript (tell application "Google Chrome") and History DB I/O on the main thread; when Chrome was slow or Automation was pending, the main run loop blocked inside AESendMessage and Carbon hotkeys, the panel, and the menu bar all stopped responding. That work now runs off the main thread; only the cache write hops back to MainActor.
  • Restart CmdSpace (gear menu, window-switcher recovery, and menu bar) now shares one relaunch helper that delays open until the dying process has released its singleton lock, avoiding silent no-op relaunches.
